Laser hair removal only works on hair follicles in the growth phase so a series of treatments is required to eliminate the majority of hair follicles in the treatment area. Unlike other laser hair removal systems, ClearScan™ utilizes two 1064 nm Nd-YAG lasers (greater power and speed), a powerful cooling device (cools before, during and after laser pulsing so that no anesthesia is required) and a scanner (non-sequential pattern generator) for quick and effective treatment of the desired areas. Computerized beam placement through the scanner ensures uniform coverage without undesirable areas of overlap or skip.
