Patients with excess or redundant upper or lower eyelid skin and/or bulging eyelids may benefit from eyelid surgery.
Important considerations include previous surgery, position of the eyelids, position of the eye relative to the surrounding bony structures and pre-existing conditions that affect the eyes or may likely affect the eyes.
Eyelid surgery is commonly performed at the same time as brow lift and/or face and neck lift.
