VelaShape™ Circumferential Reduction and Cellulite Treatment

VelaShape™ , a non-surgical FDA-cleared medical device for Circumferential Reduction and Cellulite Treatment, uses a unique combination of infrared light and bi-polar radiofrequency energy along with tissue mobilization and negative pressure to deliver targeted heat to adipose tissue.
Bi-polar radiofrequency energy, infrared light, tissue mobilization, and suction all work together to reduce the appearance of cellulite and facilitate new collagen deposition. The procedure also increases localized fat metabolism (lipolysis) and lymphatic drainage resulting in shrinkage of the fat chamber. With a series of treatments patient benefits include a reduction in the circumference of the treated area and a smoother appearance of the skin's surface.
VelaShape™ treatments are safe and effective and require significantly less energy compared to conventional lasers and IPLs. Most people experience no side effects, though a few may exhibit some short-term local reddening.
Commonly treated areas include abdomen, arms, buttocks, hip and outer thigh, love handles and thighs (including anterior, inner and posterior).
Patients may notice a smoother appearance in the treated areas after the first session. Circumferential reduction takes longer to occur and is generally evident after an average of 4 treatments.
